A scrapper acquaintance told me he had a 300D at his yard I could scavenge for parts. Nothing of much use on that car but I saw this old truck sitting near the back of the lot.
All photos taken with a Nikon D3300 and 35mm lens.

Old car badges just look better than new ones.

Great pics! You’ve got the same camera I have....I’ve got the stock lense that came with it. Still trying to get to grips with it, especially exposure settings (new to the DSLR world) :)

Great pics. Did you get to take any of those badges with you?

Thanks! I find myself using the 18-55 more and more, lately. I’ve only been at it a little over a year myself. I found the best way for me to learn was to just leave it in manual and shoot a lot.
Take some pics and share in the Photo Gallery. It’s held every sunday and shared to Photography.

Thank you. I did not. It didn’t even occur to me to do so at the time, but he mentioned to only take from that one car. I think it’s a communal dump of sorts and probably not all are his.

It’s as if the truck turned colors for autumn. :)

That’s probably why I like it so much. If someone hadn’t repainted this by brush years ago you wouldn’t have gotten this wonderful effect.
Also, now I’m wondering if it will look like new in the spring. o_0

Hmmm. Might pull of a primer gray-moss green sort of look...
